eSIM iOS Installation Guide

1. Go to "Settings" > Tap "Mobile / Cellular Data" > Tap "Add eSIM"

2.  Scan the QR code provided in the confirmation email

3. Optional: Label the eSIM. You have the option to modify the "eSIM Label" (the name of the eSIM) instead of using the default name

4. Configure the following settings as suggested:

  • Set Default Line to "Primary" > Tap "Continue"
  • Set iMessage & FaceTime to "Primary" > Tap "Continue"
  • Set Mobile Data to your previously chosen esim label, in this example "My eSIM"

Do not turn on Allow Cellular Data Switching to prevent charges on your other line.

The eSIM is now installed and configured!

Don't forget to turn off your eSIM until your reach your destination to avoid the consumption of your credit before traveling.
 

5. When reaching your destination, activate your eSIM

 

Important: Data Roaming MUST be ENABLED in order for the eSIM to work

Go to "Settings" > Tap "Mobile / Cellular Data" > Select desired SIM > Move the toggle switch to "On"

6. Check if you need to edit your eSIM’s APN settings

Changing your APN allows you to access cellular data.

Go to the confirmation booking email and check on the APN details.

Update your APN settings, if needed

Go to Settings > Mobile Data > choose your eSIM plan > Mobile Data Network. Change it to your eSIM’s APN settings. Other APN fields are optional.
